HD Defense Warranty Guide

WARRANTY INFORMATION

HD Defense brand parts, rifles, and components are warranted to be free from any defects in materials and/or workmanship for the life of the original purchaser. This warranty applies exclusively to HD Defense brand products. All other products will be subjected to their respective manufacturer’s warranties.

Items sold by HD Defense, but not branded as HD Defense, cannot and will not be warranted under this warranty.

Firearms assembled by HD Defense, using parts provided by HD Defense but not built on an HD Defense marked receiver are covered for a period not to exceed one year from the original date of purchase. Firearms assembled by HD Defense on HD Defense marked receivers are warranted for the life of the original purchaser. Firearms assembled by HD Defense using customer supplied parts, are not covered under this warranty and only the original item manufacturer’s warranty applies, regardless of the markings on the receiver.

This warranty does not cover routine maintenance, malfunctions resulting from normal wear and tear, neglect, or abuse. Failures caused by defective/out-of-spec ammunition are also not covered under the scope of this warranty. HD Defense will be the sole authority regarding what is considered routine maintenance and/or wear and tear. All warranty claims must be submitted in writing. Only HD Defense is permitted to remediate any claims under this warranty.

To initiate a warranty claim, call or email us to request an RMA number and warranty claim form. A copy of the original receipt, invoice, or order confirmation must be included with warranty claim form.

HD Defense will accept no responsibility for loss or damage in transit.

Under no circumstance shall HD Defense be responsible for incidental or consequential damages with respect to economic loss, injury, or damage to property, whether as a result of express or implied warranty, negligence or otherwise.

Altering or modifying firearm parts is dangerous and will void the warranty.

HD Defense Upper Receiver Groups are manufactured to perform properly with original parts as designed.

It is the duty of the end-user to ensure any parts that are purchased as accessories are compatible with this Upper Receiver Group and are installed correctly. Neither replacements, nor original parts are to be altered, changed, or modified in any way.
